Young Carpenters Project
The Raízes do Fazer Institute launched the “Young Carpenters” program in November 2020. Young Carpenters is an after-school woodworking program for boys and girls ages 14 to 18. Participants learn basic woodworking skills in a friendly and safe environment, and when they complete a project, the young people keep the items they created. The free course from the Raízes do Fazer Institute includes design, the production of woodworking kits, product development training, product marketing, technical skills development, pricing, introductory computer classes focusing on spreadsheets, manufacturing planning, and team building.
